Tut Tuesday: E.A.T Placemat

Hey y’all, hey! How was the weekend? We went rafting for a day and the water was so low. Good thing I only had one large pancake before the trip, or we would have been dragging!

I’ve been wanting to share this little DIY with you for some time. I love having people over for dinner, and I LOVE having special placemats for the big event! Inspired by these gorgeous linens by Emerson Fry, stenciling is easy-peasy and you can customize however you want! So hop to it and make your own.

To make you’re own you’ll need:

  • bamboo placemats (50 cents each at Target)
  • stippling brush
  • black paint
  • tape
  • stencil letters

Secure the stencil letters to your mat with tape. Lightly blot with paint, let dry, and remove the stencils. Boom!

New pretty stencils for you. These also make great gifts for a hostess. Have fun with it!

A little Insta action for your viewing pleasure. Now, let’s get to the real stuff and talk about The Bachelorette.

I always see DIY’s and think “MAN That’s such a great idea and so SIMPLY, why didn’t I think of that?!” But that’s why we blog, right??? To share these simple great ideas with each other because we can’t possibly think of all the good ideas on our own :) Thanks for being the part of my brain that thoughts this up :)

hahaha, Freya! You are so welcome! That’s why blogging is so great because we can all bounce ideas off each other. I always get nervous about projects; you either love them or hate them! But this one was so simple and gorgeously graphic!

These are awesome Lexy! I love anything graphic and literal and these check both of those boxes perfectly.

And now onto The Bachelorette; I don’t know why I suffer through it every week but it’s addictive! I’m rooting for Jef all the way :)

Thanks, girl! Logan is even addicted to The Bach. He got sucked in with me and we watch it religiously. It’s not that I really hope these people find love, but more that I can’t stop watching how they act! Way too addictive. :)

Thanks, Amy! The plates in the photos are from Target! I purchased them a few years ago, but there are some new white ones that are VERY similar in style! :)
