Hey friendly friends! Just threw a shower last Saturday and I wanted to share some of the photos with you. It was for one of my best friends, Ashley, who just happens to be the cutest/most stylish/sweetest pregnant woman you ever met. We picked out an invitation via Paper Culture and then just rolled with the punches after that. I created a board and pinned lots of inspiration to help me decorate and I had a lot of fun planning this one.
le invite. I blocked out all of the information for privacy’s sake!
Menu: spinach & apple salad with raspberry vinaigrette, mayo & parmesan rolls, caramel apple bites, chocolate & vanilla bluebird cupcakes with toasted coconut & cream cheese frosting, & cranberry holiday punch
I’m not kidding. These bottles were seriously my favorite thing.
These birds were so fun to make. I almost didn’t want to eat one.
Remember when I made these?
I’m not a HUGE fan of games at baby showers, but this one helps the gift opening be more enjoyable for every guest. We played baby bingo and the winner won a Sprinkles cupcake mix and spatula.
The girl did good.
Ashley and her super cute sister, Stacie. These girls are seriously twins. They are so close it’s adorable.
My puppy, Tagg, was exhausted from all the work he put in. I am now offering private lessons on perfect posture. Email me if you’re interested.
Cinnamon & sugar toasted almonds as favors. DIY for these little gems here. Check back here tomorrow for the recipe. You’re going to make these. If you don’t, I feel sorry for you. They strengthened my marriage. 🙂
Me and preggers. She’s due in one month. I think pregnancy suits her. Actually, anything suits her. Congrats to Ash! She’s going to be the world’s greatest mom. Seriously. I’m going to have to post pics of baby girl’s nursery. It’s just too amazing.

I have an idea applies to Place Cards, candle settings, and many other popular wedding DIY projects. With a little guidance and how-to instructions, you can wind up with beautiful wedding decor while providing your guests with hours of entertainment.
I recommend to allow kids to come and go as they please, and have some dedicated crafting time for the rest of your guests just after the more active games. This allows them to recuperate after getting their heartbeats up and chat it up a little while being productive.
