You guys! Knitting is the most fantastic thing on this side of the Mississippi. It’s a bit difficult to cast on (if you are me), but it gets easier once the knitting starts. And don’t even get me started on purling! I am so excited about this new hobby. You can make some pretty great stuff. My second class is tonight and we will be starting a real project. Probably a scarf. I owe it all to Fancy Tiger. If you live in the Denver area, you MUST check them out. They have so many different classes that there is something for everyone!
This is a little shot of my practice knit. Our homework for the week was to finish 50 yards of yarn and practice knitting and purling. I’m hooked.

If you aren’t a member of Ravelry, you should be. It’s a free site for knitters and crocheters. I’ve found tons of crochet patterns in the past, and now I can finally get some knitting patterns. Isn’t this infinity scarf lovely???

Can you tell I’m ready for fall?
I want to know what you guys are working on. Any knitters out there? Do you have a favorite pattern?

I love that grey infinity scarf you made! What is the pattern for it? (I really want to make that pattern)

Hi Abby! I actually don’t have any pattern as I was just practicing the art of actually knitting! Just knit one, purl two!
