“THEY WERE CONES!!!” – Sammy from The Wedding Singer
Do you know what I love? Party favors. I love EASY party favors. Actually, I like the hard-to-make ones too, but there’s a time and a place for that. Below is a little tut for some cone-shaped favors. Check out the instructions below.
Supplies: colored cardstock, pencil, scissors, calligraphy ink & pen, and some tape (or hot glue if you have some handy)
First, trace a 1/4 circle around the corner of a piece of cardstock.
Cut it out…
I chose to write the word “enjoy!” on the front of the cone in gold ink, but you can really write anything you like. These would make great place cards with names on them.
Fold two sides up and towards each other.
Seal them with tape.
**This is where the hot glue comes in. The tape works fine because you don’t see the back of the cones, but hot glue looks neater.
I bagged up some cinnamon & sugar toasted almonds (check back later in the week for the recipe) in cellophane and tied it with some rafia.
Bada-bing, bada-boom. Some sweet cones for your sweet friends.
Enjoy!
