Easter is just around the corner. Can you believe it? 2012 is flying by and I’m loving every minute. Neon is the new black. And these neon eggs don’t disappoint. Find out what they’re wrapped in after the jump.
To make these eggs you’ll need:
- paper mache eggs (found at Michaels stores)
- bright paint in various colors
- paint brushes
- an old pair of tights
- rubber bands or tape
Once your eggs are dry, wrap them individually with a square from the tights.
Secure the back with a rubber band or tape. Hide that backside in some Easter grass or paper shreds and you’ve got yourself one cool egg.
Ahhh!!! I love these. I would have never thought to use tights, but the texture it brings is truly amazing.
Girl. Did you get a new camera?! Your photos are gorg!
Thanks, Julia! I didn’t get a new camera. I’m just starting to figure out how to take better photos! I’m improving. Slowly, but surely.
I was awarded the honor of the Liebster Award and Iām passing it on to you! Love your blog! Check it out! http://design-that-inspires.com/2012/03/spring-where-art-thou/
