I couldn’t be happier that the weekend is here. I’ve got two of my fave girlfriends coming to visit and I plan to party ’til the break of dawn. Really. We’re even going to watch Vampire Diaries. It’s gon’ be crazy. This week was jam-packed with fun. Did you see the instagram shots of our Harry Potter murder mystery? I’m pretty proud of our costumes. Logan makes a pretty good Hagrid. Or he makes a pretty good man-who-looks-like-he-will-reach-through-his-beard-and-stab-you. I’m so lucky. And do you know who committed the crime?! It was me! I temporarily (it was only a petrifying spell) murdered Ron Weasley!
The photo above was spotted over on the newest and bestest kid-friendly site, Small Fry Blog. I don’t have any kids yet, and I can’t help but spend hours looking at the pages of craft after craft. Isn’t this fingerprint art adorable? I can’t help but think of Up when I look at it. #meltmycolddeadheart

The fingerprint artwork is so happy! All those colors together makes for such a cheerful piece of art. I don’t have kids either, but I’d love to have something like this in my own house. Hmm…we may have rainbow fingers this weekend if I have my way. I also adore those confetti glasses. Coincidentally, I just finished shooting a guest post where I painted gold dots on white mugs using reinforcements to make perfect circles. It was way more labor intensive than I expected! I like that these dots aren’t permanent, but just as cheerful. Perfect for upcoming holiday parties!

I’m a fan of the temporary dots, too! They’re so cheery and holiday-ready! I’d love to see your rainbow art if you end up creating!
