To say I’m smitten with my baby would be an understatement. The weeks are just flying by. Baby Vita (pronounced vee-da) is over one week old. Can you believe it?! I can’t. I also feel like I haven’t showered since she was born. I can believe that. So far, motherhood has been an insane adventure that I’ll have to tell y’all about when I can sit down and process it all. It involves a lack of sleep, a trip to the emergency room, and a car accident! You can’t make this stuff up, my friends. It’s a good thing my mom was here with a 12-pack of Diet Coke! She keeps me young.
We plan to do lots of snuggling this weekend. Logan’s parents are coming into town to meet Baby V so there will be lots of hugging and kissing going on! And eating. And *hopefully* sleeping.
The goods:
lovely floral headpieces that everyone should sport.
why chelsea DIYs. why do you?
the cookie i’m craving: old fashioned sugar cookies.
h&m halloween. get outta town.
i swear. her costumes get cuter and cuter every year!
i may have it in me to make this octopus costume!
curl up with a halloween movie and these popcorn party tubs!
amazingly spooky wire signs for halloween!
**happy weekend**

Aw, thanks for sharing my sign! I’m so excited for you, mama! You will have curveballs and you will be stressed and tired, but you will love every minute of it.

Oooo be still my heart! I love that little baby Vita! Can’t wait to see all your baby posts and DIYs and everything baby since little V has arrived! Hope you’re recovering well. Post baby can be rough, so make sure you take care of yourself too. With Brinley, I remember really trying to shower during her first nap of the day because the day just gets away from you it seems. But–then I would go 5 days without a shower and have to start my own rules all over again. Be easy on yourself. Don’t hesitate to ask for help. AND don’t feel bad waking your hubs up in the middle of the night, even just to sit with you half asleep while you’re feeding baby V. Okay, no more advice. hahaha I’ll stop. Love you!
