Oh, oh, oh. Boo. Boo. Boo. I love Halloween way too much. Just kidding. Not too much. An appropriate amount. And that’s why I can’t wait another second to start a new Halloween series! Remember every year around Christmas time when I introduce Mission: Merry?! And then proceed to share all sorts of Christmas-y DIY goodness?! Welp. For this next Halloween holiday cycle, we’re runnin’ with a new series called Mission: SCARY. See what I did there? I know. I’m good with the words. Anyway! This series includes a slew of terrifyingly cute/fun/spooky Halloween projects. We’re kicking off with these easy DIY Halloween Boo Bottles. They’re terrifyingly easy…
Materials:
- assorted glass milk bottles
- white spray paint
- cotton balls
- tape
- black Sharpie marker
And it goes like this:
Stuff cotton balls into the mouth of each bottle and tape over the top. This will help protect the opening so that the bottles can still be used for beverages!
Shake your tail feathers paint can and spray each bottle making sure to cover the entire surface. Allow 1 hour for each bottle to dry to the touch. Once dry, draw fun and spooky faces on each bottle like a ghosty face or the face of a happy jack o’ lantern.
Fill the bottles with tasty cider or some orange soda (Diet Coke for me, thanks!) and then pop a cute and Halloween-appropriate straw in each! You’re all set for a terrifyingly fun celebration. Get ready for all the “terrifyingly fun” puns that are about to commence. I’ve got a lot of ’em.

Sidenote – Logan made sure to tell me that this post was filled with “photos of the same thing but just at different angles”. I recognize. And I just liked all the photos too much not to share. 😉
So boo me. (Get it?)
