I’ve always been somewhat of a book hoarder. I have a very hard time parting with books. Even if I’ve only read them once, I just can’t get rid of ’em. My kids are turning out to be the same way. We have loads and loads of children’s books that we read every day and I’ve really loved watching their love for reading grow. Even Mara will sit with a book in her room or in the car and it’s hilarious to watch because she looks like she’s really reading! We have a few shelves throughout the house and each of the girls has one in their room. We’re always changing out a few, but our faves are there to stay day in and day out. So I thought it would be fun to share a little roundup of a few of the prettiest shelves and displays for children’s books that I have bookmarked. There are so many more to choose from, but I keep coming back to these!

These rooms are so very neutral and allow children’s books, art, and toys to bring in bits of color. I always thought I’d be super loud with my kids’ rooms, but if you take a look at my Pinterest board for kids & babies, I gravitate towards a bit of neutral. How did that happen???
