I said it yesterday. I’ll say it again. Alt is like the Fashion Week of paper. I hear that business cards were a big deal at Alt, but these people pulled out ALL the stops! It was just crazy! I felt like a collector. I exchanged cards with so many people and you just can post ’em all in a day! I’m splitting them up into categories and sharing a few of my faves in each. First up today: Best Accessory. The folks above accessorized their cards with paper ornaments, mini sewing kits, tiny animal birthday candles, mini party kits, and more! I seriously died.

Sad note: Ashley from Sugar & Cloth had adorable cards and I somehow didn’t get one! And we were roomies! If you got her card, please send me a pic so I can admire it in a cyber way! They were little kits filled with DIY supplies she uses on a regular basis – twine, glitter, and clothespins! Ah!
There were SO many cards and SO many people. I’m so sad that I didn’t get to talk to everyone. I know I’m missing out on some other awesome cards out there. These are just a few of my faves.

I didn’t go to Alt but I’m loving all these recaps and round ups everyone is doing. I’d love to know, how do these accessorized business cards actually get handed out? It’s one thing to carry a stack of business cards but are people lugging around backpacks full of wooden spoons or cookie cutters to hand out with their cards? Serious question!
Dina! So people who had large cards (like me and a few others) carried extra bags with us that were filled with just cards to hand out! I had a purse and then another larger purse to lug around the whole time! I will definitely rethink what I do next year! I was exhausted by the end of each day!
