That’s right. Those are baby girl’s feet. Vita’s feet are SOOOO much bigger now! I’ve been keeping these photos to myself for some time now. I just look at them and admire my cute, cute babe. A good friend of mine, Nicole Coleman of Petit Soul Photography, came to our house when V was about 10 days old to capture some sweet photos in her nursery. And my heart hasn’t been the same since. It’s amazing how you can love someone so much. Get ready for your heart to melt.

The sexy wink. Vita would NOT open her eyes. She was such a sleepy newborn and we had to work to get her to give us even 50%.

I asked Nicole to just capture us in the moment. No real posed shots. If you know me, you know that I canNOT pose seriously for a photo. I get all awkward and stiff and make inappropriate comments. It’s fun for nobody.

V doesn’t fit in this blanket anymore. Because she’s such a chubster.

This one might be my absolute favorite. I am on the verge of crying right now from looking at it.

What I loved about Nicole is how patient she is. She shot both film and digital and she waited and waited for the right moments with Vita. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Sweet V and her tube socks. They almost go up to her knees in these photos and now they don’t even fit over her fat little feet. I can’t believe how fast she’s grown. Or how much I’ve changed. Or how much we love each other. I didn’t think I wanted any real newborn photos, but I’m just so happy we took these.

I’m going to tell you this serious note. If you are in Denver, you absolutely have to check out Nicole and her site. She has two adorable girls and another little babe on the way! She actually found out she was prego the day that Vita was born. Special, right? She’s amazingly talented and has an aesthetic that suits all tastes. I promise. She’s currently running a special for an ALL FILM (!!!) session WITH digital files for $300! That’s a steal. Film is the real deal. She takes all kinds of photos, but I’m partial to her shots of people just living day to day.
