Hola, mi amigos. It’s Tuesday, September 10th. That means that we’re officially in the last month of pregnancy. And what a whirlwind it has been! It’s flown by and dragged at the same time. We’re heading to the doc today to find out the plan for the next few weeks. Turns out, our daughter is just super advanced and wants out before her due date. She’s impatient like her mama.
While I’m out getting all checked out, head on over to Bunny & Dolly today! PJ, the sweet author behind this inspirational blog, and I met at Alt Summit last January. We’d been cyber friends before that, but meeting in person just solidified it. She runs a “Being Pregnant” series and asked me to participate a little while back. The interview is live today and here’s a lil’ snippet!
Q. How do you dress the bump?
A. I’m not going to lie to you: I work from home, so I am mostly in workout clothes or sweats that don’t fit. My stomach hangs out, and it’s super attractive. When I actually have to leave the house, I wear mostly maxi skirts and dresses.

Best of luck Lexy! On the bright side, once she is full term and good to go, it will be nice for her to show up early!! The last weeks can be so hard! Much love for a safe, healthy and swift 😉 delivery!! xoxo
Lexy says
Thanks, Laurel!!! A few more days and we’ll “technically” be full-term! I just need to try and stay sane until then! Thank you for the well wishes! 🙂 Muah!

I read your whole interview on that other site. I just want to say that you are not the only one that experiences the all day nausea for most of the pregnancy. You are not alone! I am 39 weeks and still have about four days a week that I am super super queasy (although I haven’t thrown up since week 24.) Good luck in these next few weeks! Maybe if your baby comes early you will beat me! My due date is Sept 16th.
Lexy says
Oh, Jenn! Thank you for the words of encouragement! The throwing up is definitely getting old! It has returned with a vengeance these last few weeks. But oh well! Whaddayado?!?! Your due date is just around the corner!!!! Girlfriend. You could go early! How are you feeling?!
Corrine says
Lexy could you be any cuter?! You make pregnancy look so beautiful. I am so excited for you and your new babe to arrive. It is the best thing in the whole world!! That last month is brutal but then it’s all worth it, promise! 🙂
Lexy says
Oh you sweet lil’ lady! This last month has definitely thrown me for a loop. I am WAY too emotional and WAY too uncomfortable. I think Logan may kill me before we reach the end. 🙂
Melissa says
How exciting! I didn’t realize that we are due within one day of each other, but from the sounds of it, you might be getting an early surprise! Lucky duck! Your photos are beautiful. What a treasure! Good luck the last few weeks.
Lexy says
Girlfriend! I didn’t realize that either! I’m hoping we can keep her cooking for a little longer, but if she comes early, I won’t stop her! I hope you are feeling well! Let’s push through these last few weeks!

I seriously can’t get enough of those maternity photos you had taken. So, so pretty!
Lexy says
Oh girl. You are too nice. I feel like a beached whale! But whaddayado?!?! 😉
Kari says
Adorable! Can you tell me about where your outfit is from?? Love!
Lexy says
Thanks, Kari!!! Both the sweater and skirt are from Urban Outfitters clearance a few years ago! I just can’t bring myself to buy actual maternity clothes! They never fit right! And the necklace is from Anthro! 🙂
